Beth By Marty Miller

At Provincetown Theater
—

Following a successful debut at the Provincetown Theater during our 4 Star Solo Show Festival in June, Marty Miller returns to our stage with his solo show: BETH. In BETH, Marty Miller uses anecdotes from his past and moments from his current reality as a restaurant server in NYC to explore his own queer experience, loss, and the difficult but necessary need to keep on…keeping on. A major departure from his online, brain-rotted, content —BETH is good (gay) grief!

Beth By Marty Miller

Provincetown Theater

Aug 12, 2026·Provincetown Magazine

At moments, it’s almost hard to stop laughing and keep up with the story because Miller’s delivery is so perfectly executed, deliberate, yet seemingly off the cuff. Miller has a comfortability on stage that can only be achieved after years of performing for crowds—whether that was waiting tables or selling gowns to bridal parties for their big day. His punchline delivery is so good it makes you want to leave a tip (which, thankfully, you can when you exit the theater).

Provincetown Theater

Aug 4, 2026·PTownie

Beth is one of the most uplifting, laugh-out-loud, tender, wonderful shows I have seen in years. Marty Miller is warm, funny, engaging… and, at one point or another in the evening, will break your heart. His sense of timing is impeccable; he’s graceful and quirky and (best of all) doesn’t take himself too seriously. I don’t want to give any more away here, except to say that Miller’s show is both clever and heartwarming—a tough line to keep, but he achieves it impeccably and seemingly effortlessly.
