Summary:
Gypsy is a musical about an ambitious stage mother and her daughters who travel the country in the early 20th century performing vaudeville. The show is set during the transition from vaudeville to burlesque and explores the mother-daughter relationship as well as the struggles of performers pursuing stardom.
